Young Patrons pledge their support to Jewish Care

Young patrons of Jewish Care are thanked for their support of Jewish Care

Jewish Care thanked its young patrons for their support at a Chanukah party held at Six 13 restaurant in central London. Guests were welcomed by fundraising director Richard Franklin and trustee Richard Mintz, who noted the success of the Young Patrons’ scheme, set up over three years ago. The charity now has 125 young patrons.

Guests saw a video of Jewish Care’s work and took part in a candle-lighting ceremony with Rabbi Geoffrey Shisler of New West End Synagogue.

Young patron Neil Miller, co-chair of YJC’s The Collection committee, spoke of the satisfaction he got from helping the community: “It is very rewarding to give something back,” he said.
