Cash boost for Redbridge Jewish Care football teams

Five -a-side tournament gives cash boost to Redbridge Jewish Care football teams
Redbridge Jewish Care football teams received £1000 cash boost, the proceeds of a five-a-side tournament in which managers, parents and siblings took part. Nine teams participated in the fundraiser, held at Powerleague in Fairlop on Sunday, 3rd June.
The tournament, organised by Sinclair House’s football coordinator Jon Jacobs, was attended by around 200 people who turned up to lend their support. These included volunteer helpers, Judy Nathan and Sandra Jacobs, who organised refreshments, which contributed to the funds.
Marc Harris, captain of the winning team Hartly All-Stars, said: “Jon Jacobs has organised a truly great day out.” The fundraiser will become an annual event in the RJC calendar.
