Sinclair House art room sale

Arts and crafts sale raises £120 for Sinclair House
Over £100 was raised by a sale of arts and crafts created in the art room at Jewish Care’s Sinclair House Community Centre in Woodford Bridge Road, Redbridge. The sale was organised by volunteer Stella Isaacs, who ran a stall in the centre’s reception area every day for a week.
Stella Isaacs said: “This is the 10th year we have held a sale. The members make lots of different things from paintings and drawings to vases and dishes – they come to the art room because it is good therapy and it is good for us [volunteers] as well. Not everyone wants to take their work home so that once a year we sell it to raise funds.”
