New sponsors for RJC Football Teams

Date:  11 September 2007

Local businesses sponsor Redbridge Jewish Care Football Teams.

Two local businessmen have taken over the sponsorship of Sinclair House's football programme. Chigwell resident Lloyd Green, a solicitor and owner of ACS Vehicle Solutions, together with Philip Castle of Sovereign House Estates, in Clayhall, are the proud new sponsors of nine Redbridge Jewish Care football teams, including the six children’s teams and three adult teams.

“It’s nice to put something back into the local community,” said Mr Green, also the chair of Redbridge Aid Golf Society (RAGS), which raises substantial funds for Sinclair House. He said his son, Alexander, enjoyed playing for RJC.

Mr Castle attended the centre’s youth programmes 30 years ago when “there was no football programme like there is today. My sons, David and Jimmy love playing for RJC, so I am happy to support something so beneficial to so many children. From a business perspective, as part of the local community, this helps us to maintain our policy of sponsoring many local organisations and events.”
