Jewish Care’s chief executive Simon Morris and fundraising director Richard Franklin watched with pride as Rabbi Alan Plancey fixed a mezuzah on the reception door of the charity’s temporary offices at Merit House in Colindale. The health and social care charity plan will return to its Golders Green site upon the completion of the new £40m care campus that is being built.
Meanwhile, Mr Morris, 47, was named the 15th most influential person on British Jewry in the Power 100 list published last week in the Jewish Chronicle. He was ranked at number 52 last year. His entry said: The Jewish Care chief executive really is making things happen … He has a pivotal position as the man who takes the big decisions for British Jewry’s major welfare charity.
