“I went to Rubens house on Tuesday with Tara and really enjoyed talking to some of the residents. I met a very nice lady who had recently turned 101 and found it interesting to talk to her.
Tara and I stayed whilst the residents had their dinner. I thought that by helping out at dinner, it meant clearing plates and serving people their food, not actually feeding them. I found feeding some of the ill quite upsetting, however, it felt great at the end as I had helped them accomplish something.”
