Jewish Care has been given planning permission by Barnet Council to build a care campus in Golders Green Road. The development, costing in the region of £40m, will help us to provide cutting edge health and social care services in a modern setting, in the heart of our community.

The care campus will meet the changing needs and expectations of our community by offering four different but related aspects. Specifically, the campus will offer:
- A modern, more intimate, state-of-the-art 54-bed residential, nursing and dementia care home with a dedicated respite area for those requiring short term care.
- A unique development of 45 'extra care' apartments, providing independent living in individual flats, with communal facilities to encourage socialising and companionship, supported by an on-site care team.
- A community centre for older people offering a variety of cultural and social activities, as well as shoes and a hairdressers.
- Jewish Care's head office for its administrative, support and social work staff enabling them to be actively engaged in the care being provided for the community.
