The Shalom Centre offers a relaxed and welcoming environment for Jewish people aged 18+ who have mental health needs.

The Centre offers a day programme of structured services and activities to include:

  • life skills and independent living support
  • relaxation 
  • women's and men's groups
  • discussion groups 
  • art therapy and creative writing
  • Jewish cultural group 
  • complimentary therapies
  • positive mental health group
  • employment support for voluntary and paid work (ATID)
  • mental health education and training
  • mental health social work support and advice

Support 
The Shalom staff work closely with other local organisations to ensure consistency in support planning. Everyone has a support worker who they meet with regularly to discuss their needs and ongoing progress.

Evening Services 
The evening services provides supportive social clubs twice a week. A variety of activities are available including snooker, table tennis, games, and social outings.

Referral
