The centre allows members to make friends and socialise, and to participate in a wide range of activities, with the benefit of a voluntary support and advice team.
The site has three shops where members can buy kosher food, ladies clothing and small gifts. There is a hairdressing salon, barber and manicurist, available at a nominal charge, and a visiting chiropodist. There are also regular clinics, to advise and support those who are hard of hearing, and a stroke club.
The Day Centre is open from 9am to 3.30pm Monday to Thursday, and 9am to 1pm on Fridays.
A hot three course kosher lunch is provided, including a vegetarian choice or salads, as well as morning tea and a take-away service.
Transport can be provided to and from the centre according to availability.
