Individual training and support is given on specially adapted equipment so that users can learn skills and progress at a pace that suits them.
The Karten CTEC Centres are amongst Jewish Care’s most innovative services, designed to introduce users to the world of computing, improve existing skills and benefit their communication and learning abilities. They enable users to become more independent and possibly learn skills for employment.

As well as developing important and useful skills, the computer centres are designed to have a warm and culturally sensitive atmosphere where users can socialise and make friends.
Knowledgeable volunteers give extra care and social contact in a Jewish environment. It also provides regular much-needed respite for family and carers.
Relatives, friends or GPs can make a referral, or you can contact social services or the Jewish Care Direct team. A nominal charge is made for each session.
